Fundraiser at Freddies!

Dear Celtic Families and Friends,

We're excited to announce that next Thursday, January 18th, we're holding a Fundraiser at Freddies!

The fundraiser is the night of our Basketball game vs. Summit Christian and is the perfect way to grab a bite to eat before or after the game.

Head to Freddies anytime between 4pm - 9pm and order your favorite meal, and tell the cashier you're part of Holy Trinity's group. They'll donate a percentage of all sales back to Holy Trinity, which we will use to support our 2018 Gala!

We will be handing out small flyers students can carry with them and need to show the cashier, or you can use your cell phone to show the image attached below to the cashier.

Thank you so much for supporting Holy Trinty!

GO CELTICS!

Library News

It's the Banned Books Promo at Holy Trinity!

Celebrate your freedom as Americans to think and read. Read a book from our library that is on any Banned Book list (and is not one you've read in class) for one of Mrs. Allen's warm homemade cinnamon rolls. We'll read up through Feb 7th, and I'll bring cinnamon rolls on the 9th, first thing in the morning. Come and get it!

Banned Books like Huckleberry Finn, The Giver, A Separate Peace, To Kill a Mockingbird, and other questionable literature (jk).

Annual Fund Appeal

As we begin each school year filled with hope and determination to make it the best it can be. It is with the same degree of hope and determination that we open our Father Charles Davis Annual Fund Appeal, a vital part of our school’s continued success.

For more than 20 years, Holy Trinity Catholic High School has educated hundreds of young people, preparing them to be people of Faith and productive citizens. To remain a competitive, faith-based, college preparatory school we rely on our community of parents, grandparents, Board members, faculty, staff, alumni, former parents, and friends for their support.

To celebrate our 20 years, we are committed to achieving 100% participation from our school community. Gifts to the Fr. Charles Davis Annual Appeal support our Tuition Assistance program. No gift is too small, because every gift helps a student! We have set our tuition so that we can remain affordable to our families, but tuition revenue covers only a portion of what it costs to educate students at Holy Trinity. The annual appeal helps keep our school affordable to families while allowing us to make sure no one is denied a Catholic education due to financial need.

At Holy Trinity we are challenged to continue our mission to educate the Christian Leaders of Tomorrow. We firmly believe that we can and will meet this challenge, but we need your help to be successful! Please join us in keeping Holy Trinity Catholic High School strong by making your gift to the Father Charles Davis Annual Fund Appeal.

YOU are the DIFFERENCE!

Yours in Christ,

Blake Evans,
Principal

Save the Date: Celebrating Catholic Schools Week Awards Ceremony

The Office of Catholic Schools will hold its 2018 Celebrating Catholic Schools Dinner and Awards Ceremony on January 27, 2018, to recognize our Catholic schools and honor those who serve and support our schools. The purpose of this event is to recognize those individuals whose dedication enables schools to accomplish their missions and good works.

I am pleased to announce that this year’s honorees for Holy Trinity Catholic High School are Dr.and Mrs. Gene Terry. The Terrys have been involved with Holy Trinity CHS since it was founded in 1997. Dr. Terry has served on the board of trustees for over 20 years, and Mrs. Terry served as principal at Holy Trinity CHS for 6 years. They have given countless hours of time and financial resources to the school over the past twenty years. Their active involvement has helped us thrive through tough economic times. Their generosity and time given to the school are unmatched and greatly appreciated.

If you would like to join us in honoring the Terrys for their dedication to Catholic Education, please call the school and make your reservation (254-771-0787) and go to the following link to purchase your tickets: https://secure.acceptiva.com/?cst=3e3169

The event will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Hyatt at Town Lake in Austin.

As a kickoff to National Catholic Schools Week, the 10th Annual "Honor Roll" Awards

Dinner will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 featuring America's Next Top Model turned Role Model, Leah Darrow.

This annual semi-formal dinner honors the “unsung” heroes at each of our 22 Catholic schools and raises much-needed funds for Catholic school families who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford a Catholic education for their child. Over $900,000 has been returned to schools to increase accessibility to Catholic education for so many families.

We are so appreciative of the generosity!!
