KidsStuff Fundraiser Kicking Off Online

Our KidStuff books could not be distributed this week as planned. However, this doesn't stop us from being able to sell books now. There are two different online portals this year to help increase the availability of the KidStuff books to family and friends.

  1. To purchase books for Bucks, Montgomery, and Berks counties or to purchase books for family and friends for other counties that you will then hand deliver to them, use the following link: https://www.sapaynow.com/267062

  2. If your family and friends would like to purchase books for other states/counties, they can use the following link and the book will be shipped directly to them: http://www.supportourgroups.com/GN/267062

      * Note that this option results in a 40% profit and Option 1 results in a 50% option.

Want to know what to expect in this year's book? A preview is available online here.

Thanks to everyone for your patience. If you have any questions, please contact Betsy Powlus at betsye4@gmail.com.

Big picture

Vernfield's Shutterfly Storefront

We are thrilled to announce a new fundraising opportunity with Lifetouch and Shutterfly.

With their help, we’ve created a custom online storefront where you can shop the extensive Shutterfly collection of photo books, gifts, premium stationery, keepsakes, home décor and so much more—and for every purchase made, Shutterfly will donate 8% to our HSA.

Link your Lifetouch photos to your Shutterfly account and you can use your child's school photos to personalize items!

It’s easy to support us:

  1. Visit our Shutterfly Storefront at: VernfieldHSA.ShutterflyStorefront.com

  2. Click through to start shopping!

  3. Purchase thoughtful gifts and keepsakes for friends, family and especially yourself.

  4. That’s it! For every purchase made, 8% of the proceeds will go toward helping our organization.

It’s that easy. Plus, you can even use applicable Shutterfly discount codes to save on your entire order.

Please feel free to share the link with your friends, family and co-workers—the more orders we receive through our Storefront, the more the HSA earns!

Holiday Shoppe Team in Place

Thank you to Lisa Mallon, Alexandra Ricketts and Juliet Kinch who have volunteered to organize and run this year's Holiday Shoppe. Holiday Shoppe will run from December 2nd through the 6th. More information about the Shoppe and volunteer opportunities will be available in November.

In Case You Missed It...

TASTINGS OF THE VALLEY:

Sample local food, drinks, and raffles at The Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce's annual Tastings of the Valley Event Tuesday, October 22nd from 5:00PM-7:30PM at Franconia Heritage Banquet and Conference Center. The Indian Valley Education Foundation will receive a portion of the proceeds! Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please email Meg Dick at meg213@gmail.com. Thank you!

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY AT GIANT:

Giant is selling reusable shopping bags which contain a tag with a code number that will earn Vernfield HSA $1 for each code entered. The bags are located by the check out at the Harleysville Giant. Purchase a bag for $2.50. Go to the MyGMCause.com website within 7 days of your purchase, enter the code located under the scratch off portion of the tag and choose Vernfield HSA as your non-profit (we are located on the third page of the list).

ATHLETIC SHOE DRIVE:

The HSA has partnered with Got Sneakers for an Athletic Shoe Drive to raise funds and to help keep the shoes out of landfills. New or used sneakers in wearable condition will earn more for us but we will be accepting sneakers and cleats in any condition. Sneakers with rips, holes, separated soles will be recycled. Shoe donations will be accepted until the Thanksgiving break.

If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Hovind at lisa.vfhsa@gmail.com
