Strength for Yoga

This class will focus on muscle recruitment, activation and strengthening for the most common Asanas used in Vinyasa Power Flow Yoga. While yoga is often described as “easy or

beginner workouts” or “stretching” there is a great deal of strength required to practice safely and in this class we will focus on activating and strengthening chest, arms, core and glutes;

the muscles responsible for safely moving through asanas such as plank, chaturanga, and all standing poses. All moves will be body weight only and all levels and experiences are welcome. Please bring your yoga mat and any props you have including straps and blocks (not required).
