*HELP NEEDED! If you are available Wednesday morning at 11 a.m., close to 1000 poinsettias will be delivered to the Parish Life Center and we would love to have extra help unloading and organizing them for pick-up. Contact Jamie Nelson-Hebert at jamie_hebert@stpiuselementary.org if you are available to help out...lunch will be served!
*POINSETTIA PICK-UP for pre-ordered plants is this week! If you ordered poinsettias, you may pick up Wednesday afternoon between 1:45 and 2:15 p.m. before car line pick-up or between 4 and 6:30 p.m. You may also pick-up between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday.
*OPERATION CHRISTMAS ANGEL: See attached flyer for details regarding this JOURNEY Service Team-sponsored project and how YOU can get involved. You will receive an e-mail on Wednesday detailing how you can help to make this Christmas a special one for families who might otherwise not have a Christmas.
*THIRD GRADE CANNED GOOD DRIVE: Our superstar third graders will be sponsoring their annual holiday canned good drive next week (December 8th - 12th). Third graders and their parents will be in the car line each morning next week to collect non-perishable food items which will be combined with St. Pius X Church canned goods which will go to church families and others in need this year.
*SPES CHRISTMAS CONCERT: Don't miss "The Sounds of Christmas" concert next Thursday, December 11th in the SPES auditorium. The concert will feature the 5th and 6th grade chorus students' performing special selections, hand bell numbers and even a visit from THE GRINCH!

WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY -- THE BLESSING OF ADVENT WREATHS!!
