Arkansas Alpha Delta Kappa
November 2018
November brings us some cooler weather and we have many things to be thankful for. I am thankful to all the districts who invited me to attend their Founder’s Day events. I was sorry that I was unable to attend all of them around the state. I had an awesome time visiting Little Rock, Hot Springs and El Dorado. It was wonderful to fellowship with sisters and honor our founders.
We celebrate This Nation and the men and women who serve our nation in the armed forces. I know many AΔK sisters have husbands, sons and daughters who have served or are currently serving. May God keep these individuals out of harms way. Happy Veteran’s Day to all.
Through the years the theme behind Thanksgiving has been to thank God and express our gratitude for all of our blessings: home, food, clothing and a loving family. We as Alpha Delta Kappa members also are thankful for this wonderful organization we were asked to join. We are blessed to have sisters to talk to and bond with. May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Your Sister,
Chanetta Case
AΔK AR State President

Altruistic News
Welcome BABY!
Sue Gibson recently represented the local Arkansas Psi Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, an organization of women educators, and presented a gift basket to welcome baby girl Riley Dubose. She was the first baby born in October at Ashley County Medical Center.
This is the fifth year that a baby gift basket was presented to a local family by AR Psi Chapter. October marks the Founder's Month & 71st anniversary of the international Alpha Delta Kappa sorority.
Riley is the daughter of Amanda Goodwin and Justin Dubose. She was born on October 2, 2018. She weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long. Happy birthday, Riley!
