ROBIN HOOD--THE MUSICAL -March 10th-12th:

Under the rule of Prince John while King Richard was away at war, England was in dire straits. Prince John’s cruelty set the people on edge. Taxes were raised, stocks were filled, and the people lost all hope. One man, bandit though he be, took pity upon those in need, defying the Prince, robbing from the coffers of the rich and powerful, and giving to the poor.

Torn Curtain presents the musical version of Robin Hood March 10th-12th. Dessert theatre beings at 6:30 p.m. March 11th and 12th with a ticket price of $10.00. Performance only showings are scheduled for Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with ticket price of $6.00. Please note that reservations are required for the dessert theatre. A link to download a reservation form is below. Tickets for the play only showings are available in advance or at the door.

Deb MacAskill has worked for Shalom for more than 10 years in the capacity of public relations. It has been her responsibility to ensure that news and advertising is sent to local newspapers, chambers, churches, etc. Deb is an enthusiastic supporter of Shalom, and works hard to promote the school. It is due to her efforts that Shalom has become a member of the local chambers of commerce, participated in the Christmas parade, and had opportunities to be interviewed by local media groups. She has done an excellent job of being intentional about getting Shalom’s name in front of our community.

Due to upcoming changes in her life, Deb is resigning from this position effective March 1. She is currently working on a spring issue of the "Scroll", and will complete that. She has also committed to complete the summer issue of the "Scroll". We have appreciated Deb and her work, and will miss her having her be part of the work of Shalom.

Marina Shannon who has been doing our media PR will be adding Deb's responsibilities to her role.

Items for the March edition are due to Kathy Grove,, Tuesday, March 1st.
