ICE CREAM WAGON

Once a week the Youth Center kids will visit the other classrooms for the opportunity to purchase Popsicles and Ice Cream Treats after snack. The treats will cost $.50-$1.75. We will provide Otter Pops for anyone who does not have money. If you would like to bring $5 or $10, we would be happy to keep this in an envelope for your child to use each week. We will let you know when it runs low. Look for the "ICW" (Ice Cream Wagon) in our field trip section to find out what day it will take place each week. The Youth Center will use the proceeds for an end-of-summer Pizza Party.

Items Needed Daily for Summer

1. Sunscreen 30+SPF (Please arrive with first application on!)

2. Swimsuit and towel (Please label)

3. Water Bottle (Please label)

Field Trips

Summer is the time for field trips. Please read any descriptions to see if there are special items your child needs. We will also list a price for some of the field trips. This price will be added to your bill so that you do not need to bring cash on that day. There are a few Youth Center and Beehive field trips in which your child is allowed to bring cash for concessions. These will be specified in the description.

Kid's say the darndest things

Bradlee and Milah (two Butterflies) were holding hands on a walk over to the gym. They decided that they were getting married. As they walked they argued like an old married couple about when they were getting married. Today or tomorrow. As the class walked into the foyer, Bradlee raised both hands and super happy said, "Let's get married here! This is perfect!"

When the teacher rang the bell to clean up one of the 3 year old boys looked at her and said, "Can you pause everything because I need to go poop!"

Immunization Update

When your child receives new immunizations, please bring those records in to the office. We must keep immunizations up to date on all children. Our records are checked yearly to make sure all children are current. Thank you for your help in this matter.
