Program Calendar
You will notice that some events are for "ALC 1" and "ALC 2". Students are divided this way to help keep the class sizes small, but don't worry - you will get to know everyone, as we will live together in the dorm and do activities together.
Please note that the exact timing of activities listed on the calendar may change.
When you arrive on campus, you will learn more about the different activities.
By the Numbers: Your New Classmates!
Learning alongside classmates from different backgrounds and with different interests makes this program such a powerful learning experience.
This year, you are invited to join a program with:
- 78 total students
- Students from 20 different schools
- 46 women & 32 men
- 16 from Mainland China, 23 from Taiwan, and 39 from Japan
Each participant will be part of a "Coordinator Group" of 7-8 students from a diverse mix of countries, universities, genders, interests, and life stories.
Each Coordinator Group will be led by a Student Coordinator who will be your peer and mentor as you navigate life in a US university! You will learn more about them in the next newsletter!
"Learn with, from, and through others"
I will be in touch with you over the next few weeks to let you know more exciting details of the ALC program and what you can do to ensure you have the best experience. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Best,
Yuki Ueda
