Zoo Field Trip Tomorrow
I just wanted to send out a quick reminder about our field trip tomorrow. It looks like we're going to have beautiful weather. Thank goodness! If you have not sent in the $12 payment for your child's ticket, please do so tomorrow. Don't forget to pack a lunch in a disposable bag for your kiddo unless you signed up for a super sack school lunch. Those of you who are chaperoning, also pack a lunch for yourself and please bring a bag or backpack of some sort to carry your students' lunches. We usually eat lunch around 11:30 each day, so you can decide when it's time for lunch based on how hungry you and your students are. No one will have more than 3 students to chaperone.
During the field trip, we want to pay special attention to animals that could be found in an ocean habitat. Each second grade class has been assigned a specific habitat to research. We will be ocean experts by the time the school year ends. If you are chaperoning and riding the bus, please plan to be at school by 8:45. Once you have signed in through the office, come on back to our classroom. We will board the bus at 9:00 tomorrow morning and should be back to school by 2:00. If you are meeting us at the zoo and you sent in money for your ticket, remember to park in the vine street lot and tell the people at the gate you are with Erpenbeck Elementary. I think that's all for now. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to chaperone. I'm looking forward to a wonderful trip! As always, please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Mrs. Newman
