Other News
- In lieu of having the PLC (Professional Learning Community) meeting this week, we will have a grade level/department meeting that will focus on continuing the work around grade level/department goals for this year. The grade level/dept. meeting that is scheduled for 9/27 will be cancelled since it's the day after Back to School Night.
- In regards to teacher absence, only absences of 3 or more days require principal approval beforehand. If you are going to be absent for less than 3 days, you do not need to get principal approval. Also, please be sure to secure a sub and sign an absence slip with Irene specifying if you're using PN or sick time.
- A Parent Newsletter focused on school safety will go home with students this week, it will also be posted on our website. Please read over the newsletter so that you are familiar with the new school policies as well. A copy of the Parent Newsletter will be emailed to you and a hard copy will be put in your mailbox.
- In an effort to have accurate contact & emergency information for students, we will be printing and sending home the information that we have on file. We will print one or two grade levels each week. You will receive the student print outs in your mailbox, students will take them home and return them with corrections if their parents can not update the information via ParentVue.
