We Need Your Feedback - Our current response rate is 16%

Kendall currently has a 16% response rate from our parents. Please consider completing the survey as we value your input!

Parents across Illinois once again have an opportunity to participate in the annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey. This survey is designed to generate a detailed picture of your child’s school as it relates to the important elements of school effectiveness.

On behalf of the Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois 5Essentials Survey is administered online by the University of Chicago. All survey responses will be kept confidential. The state will provide survey results for individual schools only if a school has at least 20 percent of parents take the survey. If you have children attending more than one school, we ask that you complete the survey for each school.

To take this short survey:

1. Visit

2. Type and select “Dupage” as "County." (The county is the location of the school district's main office.)

3. Type your school's name into the "School" field and select your school.

The Illinois 5Essentials Survey identifies five indicators that can lead to important student outcomes, including test score gains. Research has shown that schools strong on these indicators are ten times more likely to improve student learning. The five indicators that effect school success are effective leaders, collaborative teachers, involved families, supportive environments, and ambitious instruction.

Thank you for your feedback.

Congrats 2019 Team IPEF!

Congrats to the 2019 Kendall IPEF Team. Together we raised over $6000, half of which comes directly back to Kendall to support our Kendall students. Congrats to all of our runners and thank you to everyone who donated!

Special Survivor Games 2020

District 204 Elementary & Middle School Students with Special Needs are invited to participate in Special Survivor Games on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Peterson Elementary School in Naperville. Peterson’s PTA is hosting this great event for all to enjoy. Peer buddies will be available to every participant, and cheerleaders will be encouraging the friendly competition. The events will be held in relay style fashion and each will be adapted so every child can join in and build self esteem, while enjoying the company of their friends.

We'll take your hand-me-down Keurig!

Are you swapping out your old Keurig coffee maker for a new one over winter break? If so, your Kendall Family would love to have your old one. We currently have one Keurig machine in our staff lounge but would very much like to have an additional one for use by our staff and our Kendall Red White and Brew coffee cart to be run by our intermediate RISE students.

The following companies have rented space in our schools to offer an after-school educational program for students. Valentine’s Day Party Volunteers

Would you like to volunteer to help with your child’s Valentine’s Day class party (grades K-4) or Jump Rope for Heart event (grade 5)? Classrooms in grades K through 4 will need 5 volunteers to implement a pre-selected community service project for their grade level and plan games and activities in which students will participate when the project is complete. 5th grade classrooms will need 2-3 volunteers to assist Mr. Popovich with the activities he has planned and help serve ice cream in the MPR after the event. Click on the following link if you are interested:

Please complete ONE FORM FOR EACH CHILD in whose classroom you would like to be considered as a volunteer. Parents of RISE students should sign up to help in their child’s general education classroom.
