Counselor's Corner
Hello LVES Families! It is with great excitement that I announce that with the hard work and dedication of our Project Vinátta student coalition, and our campus-wide participation, Lago Vista Elementary is once again a designated No Place for Hate® school! Our school activities this year that promoted kindness, anti-bullying, and respecting all people have earned us this award from the Anti-Defamation League®. This is the second year in a row that our campus has earned this designation, and my goal is to help us attain it every year! We believe that the No Place for Hate initiative can help our school foster a culture of respect, and create a safe, bully-free learning environment for students at all grade levels. Thank you for supporting this endeavor, and for helping your children understand the importance and value of being kind and respectful! “It starts with you in your own community. Just being kind to one another, being supportive of one another, and being loving and respectful. I can’t tell you how far that will get you in life, just being able to do that.” ~Ally Brooke
