Cockrill Spanish
These last few weeks in Señora's class...
Portfolios!
Was your child bugging you for a composition book this week?? We have started making a Spanish 1 portfolio that will contain all the most things from Spanish 1, including vocabulary, grammar, and many other useful resources. The end product will be a fantastic resource for students to take with them in their language studies.
I've been sending reminders to the students for about a week and a half and there are still some students that don't have a composition book and therefore nowhere to put all of our work from this week.
Supplies
If you were to look in my crayon bins you'll see that we are working with little Crayola "nuggets." My stash is practically nonexistant now! My color pencils and markers are gone as well :(
Since we will be working in our portfolios at least 2 days a week for the rest of the school year I am asking that your child bring their own supplies to work with. I will provide the tape and scissors for students to use.
Grades are due Friday, March 20.
Important!
- Portfolios will be graded on the Monday we return from Spring Break. This is a summative grade and each day late will have 5 points deducted from the total score (max grade is a 45).
- I will put all of the portfolio documents in the ABOUT section of Google Classroom so students can print anything they missed.
- We missed out on Tech Thursday yesterday but students must still have 9 points completed by the Wednesday we come back from Spring Break.
- Students can also check their current point totals in the ABOUT section of Google Classroom
