How many items are in the jar??
How many supplies are in the jar??
And the Winner is...
I received guesses from 50 to over 1000 items! But the actual number of items in the jar was 189. Claudia O. ended up with closest guess of 195! Everything in the jar is yours to keep! Great job using your observation and estimation skills, Claudia!
Announcements
This week we are transitioning into Biology. On Monday we will be taking the Science SBACK interim assessment. This basically a practice test to get some data about where the kids are currently.
Then on Tuesday/Wednesday the counselors are coming in to talk to us about mandated career guidance activities this year on a website called Naviance. The counselors will be presenting a lesson about Multiple Intelligences. Please contact Ms. Stremme if you have any questions.
On Thursday and Friday, Mrs. Kottkey will be in the classroom and we will be practicing observations and examinations of bean seeds as we lead into our unit about "The Characteristics of Life."
