Why Florida?

The Asthma and Allergy Found of America ranks the worst cities for people with allergies every spring. Pollen count, amount of allergy medication used in city, and the number of allergists per capita determine the city rankings. Some of the top cities included are Louisville, KY, Memphis, TN, and Balton Rouge, LA. Pollen allergies are very common in the US. However, the pollen count in the US isn't the same everywhere. The pollen count is very high in the red areas near the center of the US and but decreases as it goes towards the edges. The pollen count is extremely low in the southern areas around Florida and Georgia, especially Florida ("The Worst Places in the US for Seasonal Allergies")!

All in all, according to the graph above, and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, some of the worst cities are in states including Kansas and Oklahoma. If you want an easier life with seasonal allergies, then come to Florida, where pollen levels are the lowest!
