The Tokyo tower, standing 1,092 feet, is the second biggest tower in Japan. It weighs 4,000 metric tons. It has 16 floors and is not just a tourist attraction. It is also a communications tower and a observation tower. The hours are 9:00 am to 11:00 pm in Tokyo time. In America, the hours are 8:00 pm to 10:00 am. Tokyo time is 13 hours ahead of America. The architect of this beautiful structure is Tachu Natio. He was a Japanese architect, professor, and engineer. He built many broadcasting and observation towers just like the Tokyo tower. He was born on June 12, 1886 and died on August 25, 1970. Speaking of birth dates, the Tokyo tower was started on June 1957 and finally finished and opened on December 23, 1958.
