Parents~

Please remember to schedule a physical (due yearly) and IMPACT testing (due every 2 years) for your student. A student will not practice/play without a current one on file at the school.

RCS will have 2 dates this summer where IMPACT testing will be offered at the school. Please see attached link for sign up. Your student will need to arrive a few minutes before the beginning of the scheduled slot.

Riceville High School Computer Science students made their Little Buddies video game ideas come to life. Little Buddies (Grades k-5) presented their desired video game concepts to their Big Buddies.

The Big Buddy then either used scratch.mit.edu and block coding, or they used RobloxStudio and Lua coding to create their Little Buddy's video game.

Following this, the Big Buddy also had to create and wire up an original remote controller for their Little Buddy's video game using a Makey-Makey.

The Riceville HS Computer Science Big Buddies were successful in meeting the expectations of their Little Buddies hopes for their own custom-designed video game! Great job to all the students!
