New Teacher Spotlight
Let’s welcome a new teacher at GIVE Center East, Mrs.Jodi Byrd. When asked why she became a teacher, she responded with she loves kids and wanted to be a teacher ever since she was in kindergarten. She says the best part of her job is when she helps a student and they really get the content. Mrs. Byrd has mostly worked out of state in California, but here are some of the states she has worked in California, Maryland and Georgia. When asked what problems youth face today she said too many distractions and social media. Some fun facts about Mrs.Byrd is that she has six tattoos, loves to shop on amazon and she has a little seven year old. When asked about how she feels at GIVE Center East she said it depends on the day, but she did say we have good students and good teachers here. Mrs.Byrd teaches middle school science.
