Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays From The Activities Department

This holiday season the Howell Activities Department would like to thank the many students, coaches, sponsors, parents and community members that help to make our programs possible. As our programs continue to see unprecedented success in activity and sport, our Howell programs have continued to raise the bar in giving back to our community. The interaction and involvement that our programs have taken part in not only have made our community stronger but have also made our student-participants better young men and women while developing skills that prepare them for life well beyond high school. While the notion of "giving back" is often thought of during the holiday season, we are proud of our programs and the efforts they put into serving others during the entire year.

This holiday season we hope you and your family are able to spend time with family and loved ones. As we put an end to 2018 we also hope you are able to reflect upon the many great things that have taken place in our programs and the positive outcomes our programs have worked to create. We hope that you will continue to support our programs and work to create great experiences for our student-participants in 2019. From the Howell Activities Department to all Vikings, we wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday season!

Choir Performs With St. Charles County Youth Orchestra

Last Sunday our Howell Choir performed as part of an FHSD ensemble that came together with the St. Charles County Youth Orchestra at Missouri Baptist University. Our very talented choir under the direction of Mrs. Fitzpatrick represented Howell and our district very well in front of a crowd of nearly 1,000 in attendance. Our Howell Choir continues to raise the bar and to look for new opportunities to showcase their talent in our community. Below you can find links to four short videos taken during the production. Congratulations to the young men and women in our Howell choir for a great evening of music.

Booster Clubs Lend Support For Much Needed Weight Room Improvements

At Howell, the success of our programs are a direct reflection of the partnership and shared vision between our student-participants, coaches, sponsors and our parents. The goal of improving the opportunities and outcomes for all involved in our programs has helped guide Howell programs to unprecedented success. Over the course of the past few months the 12th Man Football Boosters have led an effort to improve the opportunities for all students in our weight room. The weight room is used by not only our student-participants but also students in our weight training classes. Through the generous support of our 12th Man Football Boosters and with additional support from the booster clubs in our baseball, boys basketball, girls basketball, girls soccer, and softball programs we were able to add over $16,000 of new equipment to our weight room that will help improve our programs for years to come. Thank you to all of our booster clubs that donated and thank you to the parents within these programs for their efforts to help support our programs. It is truly amazing to see what our programs can accomplish when we all work together towards a common goal, student success!

Golden Girls & Company Volunteer With Urban Outreach

The event helped to improve the holiday season for those with financial struggles. The GG's & Co outreach into our community is just another example of how our Howell programs continue to serve others.
