Who should Submit a Proposal?
You! Your Colleagues! Your Colleagues' Colleagues! Any professional with a level of social work understanding who would like an opportunity to share his/her knowledge with school social workers from around the state of Michigan!
What kind of Workshop Can I Give?
The Possibilities are endless! Past workshops have features lectures, case presentations, audio/visual components, group discussion, large group or small group activities and demonstrations. Presenters can choose between providing a 1.5 hour presentation or a 3 hour presentation, schedule permitting.
Presenter Benefits:
In addition to the enjoyment of sharing knowledge with colleagues, presenters are able to choose between either donating their time to present in exchange for free registration for the remaining workshops, or receiving a compensation fee of $100 for their presentation. We also offer discounted or free access to vendor/exhibit tables.
How do I Submit a Proposal?
Click HERE to be directed to the "MASSW 2019 CONFERENCE PROPOSAL FORM" Located on the MASSW Website. Follow the directions to complete the proposal form using Google Forms. Then, send the completed CE Application and presenter Resume(s) to Laura Milner, Conference Co-Chair, at lmilnerssw@gmail.com.
