Fall Festival!

An orange info sheet was sent home last week about Fall Festival- It will be held on September 26th. This is a HUGE fundraiser for our school. If you are new to MTCS, this event has: game booths, snacks, a BBQ lunch, a dunking booth (which Mrs. Leyhew will be in!), a silent auction which includes activities with the teachers, a silent auction for class quilts from the year before, and a live auction for other items in the gym. Each student is asked to donate $25 to help fund the booths, at least 1 item for the bakery booth, 1 desert for the BBQ lunch, 1 Frozen casserole for the Cougar Kitchen and a 2 liter drink for the Cougar Carnival. There are also opportunities to volunteer! Contact Mary Elam Polk (maryelam@bellsouth.net) for any questions.

It takes everyone's participation to make the Fall Festival great!

ELA

We finished our personal narratives this week! They will be hanging in our hallways for a few weeks, attached to them is a QR code. If you have a QR reader app you can scan the code and see a video of your student reading their narrative.
