Teaching 3rd Grade Social Studies with MC3
This one-day offering will prepare teachers to teach 3rd grade social studies using the revised MC3 curriculum. They will learn about the pedagogical approaches in the course, inclusion of Indigenous history and contemporary issues, examine resources within the revised curriculum, consider important pacing decisions, and collaborate with each other to investigate the first unit’s lessons and resources more deeply ahead of the start of the school year.

Teaching 5th Grade Social Studies with MC3
This one-day, in-person offering will support teachers as they use the revised MC3 curriculum. Participants will investigate the resources within the revised curriculum, experience modeled activities, consider pacing and adaptations of the units to fit various timing constraints, and have time to ask questions and work with colleagues.
