Mrs. Fortunato’s Message
Good afternoon ICS community,
A big virtual hug to all our parents and students. I hope you enjoyed the break last week.
As we continue to evaluate our programs and adjust how to best meet our student’s needs, I am sending my thoughts of appreciation. Thank you, parents, for helping us support our student's needs as we encourage excellent learning and growth in all areas of development. You are doing an excellent job helping us focus on academic excellence and we could not do it without you!
Although I try to start my day with a grateful heart, I sometimes forget to say, "thank you Jesus" for being close to each of us. During this odd time, I have tried to practice "slowing down" to help me recognize Jesus in the people closest to me. I realize I miss many small things when life pulls me from one commitment to the next. If you have family needs that are not being met, please help me to help you. I do not want to miss an opportunity to pass along the gifts of love and compassion. Do not hesitate to drop me an email letting me know how I can assist you.
Looking ahead....
Our wonderfully talented, bright, and joyful eighth graders will be graduating this June.
Although we currently do not know if we will be back to school, we plan to celebrate and acknowledge all their wonderful accomplishments! Hang on 8th graders! We love you and we are so proud of the way you are coping with all the changes we have had to endure. If you have any ideas to help plan for an alternative 8th grade celebration, please forward your thoughts to my email: principal@icsclinton.org
