Visual & Performing Arts 2: Music - Student expresses and creates by making musical sounds, with increasing intentionality and complexity.
Annual Sing Along: Gabilan State Preschool students participated in the Annual Sing Along at the YMCA. Los Vicaros Hunting Club Traveling Band played music and students sang along with the band.
Winter Program
Metz Road State Preschool students participated in the Winter Program at San Vicente School. The students sang songs that they had practiced in class led by their teacher, Yunuen Rodriguez.
Physical Development - Health 4: Fine Motor Manipulative Skills - Student demonstrates increasing precision, strength, coordination, and efficiency when using muscles of the hand for play and functional tasks.
Popcorn Trail Mix Making Activity: Gabilan State Preschool students concluded the week with a popcorn trail mix making activity led by their teacher, Laura Maldonado.
Visual & Performing Arts 1: Visual Art - Student engages, develops skills, and expresses self with increasing creativity, complexity, and depth through two-dimensional and three dimensional visual art.
San Vicente State Preschool students followed step by step instructions to create and decorate a pine tree led by teachers, Esmeralda Aguilera & Erandi Ramirez. Children created their own patterns using candies and marshmallows to decorate. Children practiced the skill of using a plastic butter knife to spread frosting to cover the cone. They practiced patience, sharing, listening skills and fine motor skills.

While students were home enjoying their last day of vacation staff were learning strategies for teaching Dual Language Learners.
