The LightBulb

Creator of the lightbulb

Thomas Edison in 1879, created a form of electricity (light bulb) which urban areas had consumed them at a staggering rate. The light bulb was one of his hardest creations to make. Able to produce a reliable, long-lasting source of light. The idea of electric lighting wasn't something new it was something that a number of people had worked on, and even developed forms of electric lighting. But at that point, nothing had been developed that was remotely practical or even really safe for home use.
