Greece and Rome

Ancient Greece was divided into lots of city-states. They included a city and its surrounding countryside, like farms and villages. Each of the city-states had its own government, laws, and customs.
Rome: Roman laws were written on tablets and hung in the forum for everyone to see. These laws applied to Roman citizens
