UPLIFT Action Launch Party October 13

Do you believe every body is sacred? Are you interested in organizing on the side of love for LGBTQIA+, gender, and reproductive justice?

Join Side With Love for the official launch of our latest organizing campaign, UPLIFT Action! This virtual event will be held on Thursday, October 13th at 5pm PT / 6pm MT / 7pm CT / 8pm MT. Register at https://bit.ly/UpliftActionLaunchParty.

We'll be honoring the sacred importance of bodily autonomy with several of our partners and Unitarian Universalists from around the country who are faithfully organizing for LGBTQIA+, Gender, and Reproductive Justice. Come be a part of this special event where we proclaim "Every Body is Sacred!" and celebrate the inherent worth and dignity of every person and launch ourselves into action!

Condolences for UUFL Members

Sadly, members of UUFL have recently lost family members. Sky and Huey Mitchell’s grandson passed away in California the end of last week and Roberta Overhill’s mother has just passed too.

Barbara McDaniel is planning to have a card for each family that people can sign on Sunday. If you are Zooming and not attending in person on Sunday, but would like your name listed, let Barbara know via the email address below.

UUFL Seven Core Principles

“The Principles are not dogma or doctrine, but rather a guide for those of us who choose to join and participate in Unitarian Universalist religious communities.”

- Rev. Barbara Wells ten Hove

Principle 1 - Inherent Worth

We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every person.

Principle 2 - Human Relations

We believe in justice, equity and compassion in human relations.

Principle 3 - Acceptance

We practice acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations.

Principle 4 - The Search for Truth

We encourage a free and responsible search for truth and meaning.

Principle 5 - The Right of Conscience

We believe in the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.

Principle 6 - Community of Peace

We share the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all.

Principle 7 - Respect

We practice respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

Our doors open at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays before the service begins. Come early for a cup of coffee or tea and get to know us. All are welcome.
