Game Scores
Football -
Football had a rough go over the weekend against a tough Houston team. In our JV game we were able to build some confidence and got everyone some much needed field experience. Wyatt Buck and Kent Maramba were our gamers of the weekend. They continued to make big plays for us even though the results wont be found on the scoreboard.
Cross Country:
The cross country team had a strong showing at home against Dimond High School and North Pole High School this weekend. Dimond, currently ranked third in the state, took the win on the boys side, but we were closer to them in competition than we were the two weeks prior. Our boys team is currently ranked fifth. Max Robinson was our top finisher, at fourth place, in front of a strong team with three separate people that have taken turns as our top finishers. Abbey Harver was our top finisher for the ladies. Our girls team took third behind both teams, but multiple girls posted their best times of their season. They continue to steadily improve, and still have a solid chance of finishing in the top three in the region and qualifying for the state championships. We compete this upcoming weekend at the ACS class races on Friday and the Palmer Invitational on Saturday.
Swim/Dive:
Kodiak swimmers had a strong showing last weekend against Soldotna. Both the boys and girls split with SOHI – falling short on Friday, but coming out on top Saturday. Several Kodiak swimmers won individual events over the weekend. Morgan Hagen (FR) & Amaya Rocheleau (SO) paced the team with 4 first place finishes each.
Friday Scores
Kodiak Boys 60; SOHI Boys 110
Kodiak Girls 76; SOHI Girls 82

Kodiak Girls 81; SOHI Girls 69
