Centennial's "Newsday Tuesday"!
Centennial Elementary Families' Weekly Newsletter 3/28/2023
A note from the principal . . .
Hi, Centennial Families!
I hope my message finds you and yours doing well!
My message is brief this week, except to share the following 2 pieces of information:
PTO General Meeting Principal's Notes
Sign Up to Serve as a Cafeteria PAL for the last 6 Weeks of School
Dear Families: Though our world, and safety standards, have evolved, it's also good to keep hold of the wonderful level of parent support our students enjoy at Centennial. We are constantly considering, how may we involve parents more to help us achieve our goal of "advancing excellence for all learners"?
One opportunity that has arisen:
Next week, I will share a "Sign Up Genius" so that you may choose one date during the last 6 weeks to serve as a Cafeteria PAL . . . I promise, your student will appreciate your doing this!
What are the benefits of serving as a Centennial Cafeteria PAL?
- You may volunteer during your child's lunchtime to support your child's classmates and grade-level friends!
- More supervision and support will help all of our students to enjoy an awesome and safe last 6 weeks of school!
What is required to serve as a Centennial Cafeteria PAL?
Volunteers will:
- volunteer for at least 2 shifts/lunchtimes (this ensures extra supervision in all grade levels...thank you for your understanding and help!)
- work with our lunch monitors to help students enjoy their lunches
- sign in at the office to receive (and wear) your badge
- follow and model all EPS visitor policies and Centennial lunch/cafeteria rules
Thank you, families! We hope this helps and that you know we truly appreciate your great love for your child/children!
With kind regards,
Ellie Webb, Principal
