Incoming Freshman Parent Night
The LHS counseling Department will be hosting "Incoming Freshman Parent Night" for parents of current 8th grade students. This presentation will discuss aspects of the high school counseling department, course selection options for freshmen students, and course selection procedures. Join us on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the Liberty High School PAC.
ANGST
LPS is excited to bring our community this film series in collaboration with the Liberty Education Foundation, Liberty Alliance for Youth, and Clay County Childrens Services Fund wich focuses on the social emotional and mental health needs of our teens. Angst is a film designed to bring awareness around anxiety. Angst removes the stigma and opens the conversation around anxiety, helping people understand and manage their sympotms and when to reach out for help.

Parent Meetings with Counselors
Parents and Guardians of students 9-11th grade - Course Selection for the 23/24 school year starts on January 17th! Counselors will be holding a course selection Q&A via zoom on January 23, 24 and 26. If you would like to have a brief meeting with your students counselor, please sign up using the following links in My Conference Time!
January 25 Bell Schedule!
The Annual Academic Fair will be held this year during the 5th hour so all students in grades 9-11 have the opportunity to visit with departments about their courses! A special bell schedule will be needed for the day. We will not be having Connect 30. Classes will be in session till 2:15PM!

Career Center Shadows!
Sophomores & Juniors interested in attending one of our career centers next year can now sign up to shadow their program of interest! Shadows are required as part of the application process. Please see Mrs. Quinn in the counseling center to set up a shadow. More information (including applications & deadlines) can be found on our website HERE!

We have partnered with some amazing organizations that want to help our Liberty High School and Liberty North High School seniors advance their education.
