O'Neil's News

Thank you so much to all of the families who were able to attend parent teacher conferences. We also are grateful for you taking the time to to complete our survey. Because of your efforts, we have useful information to utilize in continuing to provide a positive educational environment at CUES.

A note of thanks-

Our K-Kids organization hosted its first clothing drive during the week of conferences. They collected gently used items to give back to the community. We appreciate their support and hard work.

On Friday, a group of Mrs. Friday's students traveled to the Jackson County Animal Shelter. They independently organized a pet supply drive to donate to these animals. Their mission was called, Feed our Furry Friends. Due to their compassion for animals and desire to impact the community, they donated over 50 items to the shelter. We are so proud of these students for successfully fulfilling their vision.

We are looking forward to all of the activities taking place in December. One of my favorite events every year is the Holiday Sing a Long. Mrs. Friday

Mrs. Friday teaches the 5th/6th grade class here at CUES. Some of her favorite things are peanut butter Oreos, reading, taking walks and spending time at the lake. Historical fiction is her favorite genre to read because it brings history to life! One of Mrs.Friday's favorite quotes is: "One person can make a difference, and everyone should try." (John F.
