STEM Showcase
Mason Hudson, an alumni of Adair High School, came to talk to a team of students competing in the Mid America Cup innovation competition. A Principal Engineer at Trece Incorporated, he spoke to the students about the development of an app from concept to software development. He answered their questions and gave great feedback to the students to help them with their innovation project. Thank you Mason for giving back to your school and thank you to Trece for investing in our students!
The NAVAC team is competing in the Mid-America Cup sponsored by the MidAmerica Industrial Park and i2E. The team is required to write a business plan after they design a product and prepare it for the market. Traci Rabbit met with the students to review their product, Easy Easels. The students received great feedback from her about their design, the usability, and marketing strategies. We thank her for investing in our students.
STEM students not only create presentations about their STEM projects, but they also learn good public speaking skills by presenting to their classmates. Parker and Gavin are presenting their video game they learned to code using Kodu software.
