Grade Update Information Below - Keep Reading

Please read below...

Hello students & parents,
I have updated the 18, 16, 14, & 12 week gradebook to reflect assignments that have NOT been turned in by the September 10th due date. Items that have been submitted are still being graded. Don't worry, if you submitted a dropbox, posted a discussion, or took a quiz, then I will get those graded. Items that HAVE been submitted did not receive a 0. Only items that were due on October 8th and were NOT submitted received a 0.

Students have three school days to submit late work for a reduced grade. Please see the late work policy image below. We have had a great two weeks. Keep up the good work and contact me with any questions.

It can take up to 72 hours (3 school days) for instructors to grade your work. Please be patient while teachers are grading.

Parent Auditor Accounts

The Parent Account gives you information about your child’s grades and progress in their course. If your child’s grade drops below a 75, you will receive an automated phone call. If your child’s grade drops below a 70, you will receive a phone call from me.


If you already have a parent account please do NOT create a new one.

1) Please check to see that your parent account is linked to your student’s account.

2) For more information click Help on the Log in page or click the following link: Parent Account Information Link


If you are uncertain about whether you have a parent account or not,

1) Log in to GAVS at www.gavirtualschool.org and at the Log In page type in your username and password.

2) For more information click Help at the top of the Log In page or click the following link: Parent Info from Helpdesk


*Information for parents who have NEVER created a parent account.

1) Login to our website www.gavirtualschool.org

2) Click the “Log In To GAVS” icon

3) Click “Create An Account” from the navigation bar.

4) You will need to know your child’s GTID and date of birth.

5) Please follow the directions on the screen.

6) Be sure you have linked your parent account to your student’s account.

Did You Miss My Call?

I sent out phone calls to students/parents whose grades are below passing. If you got a voicemail from my phone number, be sure to listen. I want you to be able to get your work submitted before the late work window closes.
