Crossing Guard Appreciation Day!
Giesinger Snack Drive
Our campus has committed to providing 2 snack times a day for our students. Many students bring their own snack but we do have students that are not able to bring a snack from home. Help us "stock our pantry" by donating snacks on the themed days below.
Bulk snacks are easier to share than individualized packaged snacks, but we will be thankful for anything!
Extra snacks will be donated to the students that participate in our Weekend Backpack Program.
The grade level that collects the most snacks, will win a grade level PJ party!
Screen Time Tips
Sleep Tricks: Turning devices off 30 minutes before bed helps the natural melatonin production begin: Blue Light stops melatonin production
CISD Cell Phone Policy
Our cell phone policy is in place and we ask that all students with cell phones/smart watches store them in their backpacks during our instructional day. Students will have access to their devices again during dismissal. Please let us know if you have questions about these guidelines.
Happy Counselors Week
We would like to celebrate Ms. Costas and all the counselors across our great district this week. Happy Counselors Week to the people that make a big impact on campuses and help support our students. We love you Ms. Costas and thank you for all that you do for our families and students.
Crossing Guard Appreciation Day
Friday, February 9th is Crossing Guard Appreciation Day and we have 3 of the best! If you don't know these amazing humans, trust me, our kids are in good hands. Rain, shine, hot, and cold, these people show up and help keep our students safe. Please thank them if you see them Friday!
Lost & Found
Our Lost & Found is growing and has a lot of great, warm jackets and hoodies. Please visit our front porch to claim your items. We always look for names to help return items to students so please make sure your child's name is written on anything that could be lost.
Unclaimed items will be donated to local charities.

What Eagles are in the Nest? (Attendance)
What Eagles are in the Nest? We are starting an attendance raffle this month and will randomly call for students to enter their name if they are at school on the designated days. We began last week and students that were here Friday got to participate in the first opportunity to enter the raffle. Winners this month will receive a gift card to our School Store. Stay tuned for the winners...
Attendance is super important and a large indicator of school success. Help us reach our attendance goal by having students at school each day, on time.
Last Week: 94.88%
