PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
TRIMESTER 1 REPORT CARDS: On Friday afternoon, December 6, an email with instructions will be sent to parents when report cards are published to the Aspen Family Portal.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES will be held Tuesday, December 10 from 6:00 to 8:00PM and Thursday, December 12, from 1:30 to 3:30PM.
GWS uses the PTCFAST online conference scheduling program. This program allows parents to be in charge of their conference schedule and provides greater equity in terms of parent accessibility to teachers.
Access to online conference sign-ups begins on Friday, December 6, at 3:30PM. Sign-up instructions will be sent via email. If you cannot make an appointment at this time, please contact your child’s teacher directly to make other arrangements to speak.
Accessing PTCFAST.com:
- Click on the PTCFAST link, http://ptcfast.com/schools/Governor_Winslow_School
- A list of all teachers (by grade) will be displayed.
- Click on the names of your child’s teachers with whom you wish to conference.
- Enter the required information (child’s and parent’s name and email)
- You will then receive an email with the subject header “Select Date/Time for Teacher Conference Now”
- Click on the link in this email and select conference dates and times.
- PTCFAST.com will send you an email confirmation. This email will provide instructions if you need to change or cancel your appointment. Be sure to save this email, as you will need it to access your schedule.

EARN MONEY FOR GWS AS YOU CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSETS!
Put your unwanted items to good use by dropping them in our textiles recycling bin, located in our parking lot near the trash dumpsters. Ninety-five percent of all textiles can be recycled.
The following can be donated as long as they are clean & dry: clothing, shoes, pocketbooks, table linens, bed linens, draperies, throw rugs, and stuffed animals. Please place your items in plastic bags so that they will stay dry.
GWS will earn $100 for every ton of textiles placed in our recycling bin.
