Israelites (Jewish people) believe that Yaweh is the son of god. Their Holy Book is the Tanakh (Torah) which is the Hebrew Bible and they meet in a Synagogue. Their are many types of Jewish teachings such as Orthodox, Conservative, and Reformed. They follow God's laws of the Ten Commandments to lead upright and honorable lives. The holy day of Sabbath is set aside on Friday evening to Saturday eve. Justice is also emphasized; God considers all people equal. They celebrate Rosh Hashanah the new year and the fasting starts and Yom Kippur the fasting ends the celebration, Passover which is considered the Angel of Death "passed over" because of the Hebrews who were in bondage in Egypt. Some of the rituals (sacraments) include they only eat kosher foods- no pork, shellfish, or mixing of milk and meat products.
