Support Groups for Middle School Girls and Boys
Ozaukee County Family Services will be offering support groups for middle school girls and boys. It will be in person.
The middle school years can be difficult for many kids. Add to that challenges brought on by the pandemic and it can be hard to feel connected and emotionally and mentally strong. Our groups can help!
Groups will be in-person and provide a supportive environment to address and strengthen:
• Social and emotional well-being
• Self-esteem and self-confidence
• Coping skills to manage daily stressors
• Strategies to improve mood, depression and anxiety
• Communication skills
• Mindfulness and gratitude
Groups will meet at our office in Grafton. Each group will be small, social distancing will be maintained and masks will be required. Dates and times TBD (we will do our best to accommodate schedules of those wishing to participate). Groups will meet for one hour, once a week for 6 weeks.
