PONY NEWS NOVEMBER 7TH
HELLO PONIES- A LITTLE TO SHARE ABOUT Ms. Grace Kemp
Hi, my name is Grace Kemp and I'm excited to be at Lewisville Elementary this year. I have been married to my husband, Jerry, for almost 27 years. I am originally from Independence, Kansas and have 1 sister, Teresa and 1 brother, David. My husband and I lived in Honolulu, Hawaii; Laughlin AFB (Del Rio, Texas), and Richardson, Texas before moving to Lewisville in 1999. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, going off road, reading and especially helping take care of my special little buddy, David! I look forward to an exciting year.
Revised PLC Structure - Begins Thursday:
Ready, set, go! Let's begin our restructured PLCs!
Thursday PLC Classroom Teachers’ Responsibilities:
What are our grade level norms for the PLCs? Take some time on Wednesday during your grade level team meetings to discuss the norms you want to use during PLCs. Be ready to share your agreed upon norms during your PLCs this Thursday. As an example, here are some norms developed during a recent Critical Friends training involving our Team Leaders.
Note from Lakshmi Valdes:
I am participating in the training " Maximizing PLCs with Authentic Data and Assessments" during Learning Leaders for Principals. Your team leads recently participated in "Critical Friends Training," focusing on PLCs. I am excited to collaborate with you and use our learning and your feedback from the survey to guide us in the PLC process.
The instructional coaches will be sharing with each grade more about how the day will look, and what you need to prepare.
In Memory of Kael:
