The Great Kindness Challenge Week 2

The Great Kindness Challenge is devoted to promoting as many acts of kindness as possible. It is two week period of activities and events designed to foster a culture of kindness on our campus!


Kindness meets technology: Sometime this week please collaborate with your students to create a classroom slide representing your students and The Great Kindness Challenge. Find your slide in the shared doc below. The completed slide show will be featured on our website.

Monday 3/21/16

· Morning Kindness Quote - ““Choose to be kind over being right and you’ll be right every time.” (Richard Carlson)

· Students: Appoint 2 Kindness Ambassadors at recess and lunch each day this week, to wear 'kindness ambassador' buttons and award ‘kindness tickets’ to students caught being kind. There will be a kindness ticket raffle at Flag Salute on Friday

· Spirit Day: Crazy for Kindness: Crazy Hair Day

Tuesday 3/22/16

· Morning Kindness Quote - “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.” (Dalai Lama)”

· School Clean-Up Day – Be Kind to the Environment. Clean up areas around campus and classroom.

Schoolwide Kindness WordCloud: Students participate in the creation of a schoolwide 'word cloud' on kindness.

· Spirit Day: Together We Can Achieve Kindness – Everyone wears School Colors or School Gear to symbolize unity.
