original habitat
Native to Indonesia and Malaysia, orangutans are currently found in only the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra.

the temperature outside can go from 0 degrees to 100 degrees but the orangutans like to go out in the warmth.the temperature inside is usually hot. 60-95 degrees

native plants to them could be a Bambusa tulda, Kapok tree,Strangler Figs, or Coconut Trees.

physical adaptations
fur dosent really have an effect on them because out in the wild they needed it to keep their young warm but now they don't have to worry because at the zoo they have blankets. human like hand will always help them because they can use them for tings like eating playing and climing.
behavioral adaptations
being very playful is good for everyone all around. kids love when the orangutans are doing something instead of just sitting there. they have to ajust from the wild from building nest and being vicious to protect young, to having nothing to do at the zoo and getting more time to play.

bringing the orangutan species can be good for them but can be bad. the will have no preadors but they wont have a huge land.
why are they endangerd
orangutans are endangred because of trees are being cut down for timber or burned to make way for oil palm plantations and other agricultural developments. they can also die from starvation and polution.
