PARENT - TEACHER CONFERENCES
To strengthen the partnership between parents and teachers, we are having our annual Parent-Teacher Conference Night on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 4:00PM to 8:30PM at Barrington High School. All conferences must be scheduled online using Meet the Teacher. Please be sure to use a computer/laptop for scheduling, as the scheduler is not mobile friendly. Online scheduling will start at 6PM on Monday, October 28th and conclude at noon on Tuesday, November 5th. No conferences can be booked prior to the 28th or after noon on November 5th. A detailed email will be sent to all parents with the link to access the online system on Monday, October 28th after 4:00PM.

CLASS OF 2021 COLLEGE PROGRAM
Juniors and families of Juniors are invited to join us Wednesday, October 30th at 7:00PM in the BHS Auditorium for a presentation by the BHS College Counselors. Topics will include: how to choose a college, how a college chooses you, keeping the process in perspective, visiting schools and asking the right questions, and getting started!
HALLOWEEN AT BHS
In order to be sure that Halloween is fun and safe at BHS, we want to remind everyone of our costume policies:
If your student plans to dress-up for the school day, please review these policies with them.
- Costumes are allowed
- Costumes can not depict anything violent
- Costumes can not depict drug or alcohol paraphernalia
- Masks are not allowed, faces must be recognizable
- Face paint is allowed but can not be excessive and render the student unrecognizable
- No accessories depicting weapons
- No accessories related to drug/alcohol

NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26TH
Barrington is participating in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. This opportunity aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also providing education about the potential for prescription medicine abuse. Simply bring your prescription medicines to the Public Safety Facility,

The next PTO meeting is set for Monday, 11/11/2019 at 9:15am at the High School. Please bring your I.D. and arrive early at the visitor entrance to the left of the main stairs facing Main Street, to allow time to sign in and be escorted by security to the room. Better yet, join the PTO email distribution list and you may R.S.V.P. in advance to expedite the process at security. See you then!
