Congratulations to Linda Gomberg, CVUSD’s 2019 Teacher of the Year!

The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Conejo Valley Unified School District are proud to announce CVUSD’s 2019 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Linda Gomberg of Be Me Preschool. Ms. Gomberg, who received the distinction of September 2018-2019 Teacher of the Month, has been a Special Day Class Teacher at CVUSD’s Special Education Preschool for 25 years. She provides special education programs and related services for students ages 3 to 5 years-old. Read more

Lang Ranch Student Council to Host First Blood Drive on Tuesday, May 7 from 1 - 7 p.m.

Lang Ranch Elementary School is hosting their first Blood Drive with the Red Cross on Tuesday, May 7 from 1 - 7 p.m. The school is located at 2450 Whitechapel Place, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. Congratulations to Newbury Park High School's Jill Magnante - CVUSD's June Teacher of the Month

We have selected our final teacher of the month for the current school year. Congratulations to Newbury Park High School's Jill Magnante - CVUSD's June Teacher of the Month! The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Conejo Valley Unified School District are pleased to honor Ms. Magnante, who has taught English at NPHS for 5 years and was previously at Sycamore Canyon School for 9 years.


Ms. Magnante works diligently, creating new curriculum ideas and teaching differing student populations. She is an uplifting and positive force on campus, inspiring colleagues to match her continuous efforts to provide students with a top-notch, enriching educational experience. Read more

Thank You to Girl Scout Troops for Lending a Helping Hand!

A HUGE thank you to Girl Scout Troop #61235 from Sycamore Canyon Elementary and Troop #66080 from Lang Ranch Elementary for donating a portion of their cookie sales revenue to CVUSD Child Nutrition Services to cover outstanding student lunch balances at their schools. Way to go Girl Scouts!

Madrona Elementary Celebrates Annual Mustang Family Hawaiian BBQ!

Madrona Elementary celebrated their Annual Mustang Family Hawaiian BBQ on Friday, April 26 during lunchtime on their beautiful grass playground. CVUSD's Child Nutrition Services provided the delicious meals and the PTA sponsored this fun, end of year event. Read more

David Hubbard has been promoted to CVUSD’s new Director of Technology Services. Mr. Hubbard has been the Interim Director for the past 5 months, and has dedicated the past 11 years working for the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Read more

EARTHS Magnet Holds 1st Annual Earths/Kindness Festival

EARTHS Magnet held their first annual Earth/Kindness Day Festival during their lunch hour on April 9th. The event was held by Thousand Oaks High School’s ASB, running different stations focusing on kindness. ASB serves the Lancer community by organizing events and activities for the student body. Students participated in a variety of fun-filled activities from planting seeds of kindness to writing chalk quotes about kindness.The Associated Student Body of Thousand Oaks High School serves the Lancer community by organizing events and activities for the student body. ASB promotes school pride, involvement and FUN! They also support every student activity on the TOHS campus from clubs to sports and everything in between. Read more

New Electronic Visitor Management System Coming to All CVUSD Schools

Conejo Valley Unified School District is pleased to announce that beginning on May 1, 2019 all CVUSD schools will be using a new electronic visitor management system (VMS). Part of keeping students and staff safe is knowing who is on our campuses at all times, and the VMS will allow us to efficiently, and effectively do that. This new process will help us track visitors, contractors, and volunteers in our schools in a more streamlined manner. The implementation of this new system also further emphasizes our commitment to continually improving our school safety protocols and procedures. Learn More
