Many Hands, One Mason!
October 15, 2018
Dear Mason Families,
It was great to see all the families that came to conferences this week. What a great opportunity for us to partner together to ensure we are collaboratively meeting the needs of our learners. It goes without saying that we are honored to partner with each of our families to create life long learners.
We had a wonderful Fun Run today; Thank you so much for your support. I would be remiss if I didn't thank our wonderful PTO and staff for all their hard work to ensure our festivities went off without a hitch today! I think I might be extremely close to sleeping out in front of Mason soon and we have our very supportive community to thank for their generosity!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Roy Bishop, Jr.
Principal
Student Illness: We are doing everything we can to make sure our students are safe at Mason but we need your help. Please make sure your child is fever free for at least 24 hours before they return to school. If your child has an illness that is contagious and puts other students at risk, it is mandatory that you report it to the office so the proper measures can be taken.
U Of M vs MSU Spirit Day Oct. 19th: In anticipation of the Michigan vs Michigan State football game Saturday (10.20.18), have your child wear his or her favorite school colors! Feel free to wear your favorite team apparel as students aren't limited to wearing just Michigan or Michigan State colors!
Weather Update: As the weather starts changing, it is imperative that our learners have coats, hats and gloves at all times when they go outside. If your child needs any cold weather items, please don't hesitate to let the front office know and we will make sure they get exactly what they need.
Lost and Found: Please check the lost and found if your child has lost something since the beginning of school. All items that are still left in the lost and found after next Friday will be donated to charity.
Dinner Conversations Talking Points:
What was the best part of your week?
What is the title of one of the books you are reading in class?
