PANORAMA Survey for Social & Emotional Learning
Pickerington Local School District utilizes the Panorama student survey to measure and track our students’ attitudes, beliefs, and skills in key social-emotional competencies including instructional effectiveness, student engagement, self-awareness, cultural awareness and action, self-efficacy, grit and growth mindset. This helps us to ensure that our approach to staff learning and supporting our students’ academic, social, and emotional learning is on track.
For the 2020-21 school year, the survey is being administered to students in grades 3-12 across the District. The first administration (pre-survey) will be between Oct. 12th and Nov. 6th. Another survey (post-survey) will be given in the spring. Students complete the ~20-minute online survey using any device with access to the internet. Each student completes the survey one time within the fall administration window and one time within the spring administration window.
For more detailed information and links, please view the attached parent letter and opt-out form. We hope that all students will participate, however, if you would like your student to opt-out. The deadline for returning the form is today!

PAW Time Update
During PAW Time our teachers and students are exploring the topic of Digital Citizenship. There will be three lessons scheduled throughout the year to help support students and families with information and resources designed to help students be safe and successful when it comes to their online presence. We want to include parents in these important conversations and have some resources to share.
Please use the link to view helpful videos, links for additional information and discussion guides relating to student use of social media.

Please Check Your Student's Attendance on Virtual Days
We believe the majority of log in issues with Infinite Campus have now been resolved. Students must log into Infinite Campus for their attendance and Google Classroom daily. They can login to Infinite Campus once and do their attendance for the entire day so they do not need to login multiple times. If your student is unsure of how to post his/or attendance on virtual days, please watch this "how to" video: Virtual Attendance Video.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
