All About the Soprano Recorder


Teach what you know, learn what you don't.

Students will:

Develop an understanding of how to play the soprano recorder. We will demonstrate our knowledge by creating and sharing a video lesson about what we know, our experiences, and our findings. First, we will choose a subtopic, discuss and research with your group, create an EduCreations video, and develop an explanation that supports your subtopics. This project will take about 3-4 weeks to complete.

Project Expectations

*Each of you will have an important role/part in this project

*Each student must choose a subtopic

*You can use resources (anchor charts, Musician's Notebook, dictionaries,, prior knowledge)

*Information must flow

*Information must make sense


You will choose one subtopic.

Here are some examples OR you may choose your own:

*How to place the recorder in your mouth

*How to Breath

*Causes for squeaks

*How to fix the squeaks

*How to read the treble clef notes

Using Technology as a Mind Tool !
