Dear Winnetka Families,

On this final week before Thanksgiving break, our scholars are finishing strong by taking Mock ACP assessments to measure their growth. Please motivate them to do their very best. I also invite you to reach out to your child's teacher and stay informed on their progress. Also, this week we have literacy night taking place on Thursday, November 17 from 4:00-6:00 pm. We invite the whole family to come out as we will have great activities for the whole family, delicious food, a magic show, and much more! Thank you, as always, it is an Honor to Serve you! Let's Continue to Work together for the Continued Pursuit of Excellence at Winnetka because we have Wildcat Pride! The Future is Bright!

Estimadas Familias de Winnetka,

En esta última semana antes de las vacaciones de Acción de Gracias, nuestros alumnos están terminando bien al tomar las evaluaciones Mock ACP para medir su crecimiento. Por favor motívelos a hacer lo mejor que puedan. También los invito a comunicarse con el maestro de su hijo/a y mantenerse informado sobre su progreso. Además, esta semana tenemos una noche de Literatura el jueves 17 de noviembre de 4:00 p. m. a 6:00 p. m. ¡Invitamos a toda la familia a que venga, ya que tendremos excelentes actividades para toda la familia, deliciosa comida, un espectáculo de magia y mucho más! Gracias, como siempre, es un Honor Servirles! ¡Sigamos trabajando juntos para la búsqueda continua de la excelencia en Winnetka porque tenemos el Orgullo Wildcat! ¡El Futuro es Brillante!

The Night Before the Test: Please ensure the scholar goes to sleep early and receives plenty of rest.

The Morning of the Test: Motivate and Encourage your scholars to do their very best.

The Day Of the Test: Please do not schedule appointments or vacations that interfere with the testing dates. Ensure the scholars arrive at the school’s designated time of 7:15-7:45 am. The cafeteria closes at 7:45 am. Scholars who would like to receive breakfast need to arrive between 7:15-7:45 am and go straight to the cafeteria. As the assessment begins, scholars should stay focused, use the strategies taught by their teachers, and do their very best!

Campus Events

La Noche Antes del Examen: Asegúrese de que el alumno se duerma temprano y descanse lo suficiente.

La Mañana del Examen: Motive y anime a sus alumnos a hacer lo mejor que puedan.

El Día del Examen: No programe citas ni vacaciones que interfieran con las fechas del examen. Asegúrese de que los alumnos lleguen a la hora designada por la escuela de 7:15 a 7:45 a. m. La cafetería cierra a las 7:45 am. Los alumnos que deseen recibir el desayuno deben llegar entre las 7:15 y las 7:45 am e ir directamente a la cafetería. A medida que comienza la evaluación, los alumnos deben mantenerse enfocados, usar las estrategias enseñadas por sus maestros y hacer lo mejor que puedan.

• T-shirt sales will be available for sale November 17 during the Family Literacy Night event from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

• On Friday, November 18 we will be taking pictures of their scholars with their house shirts for our house system display. Please allow your scholar to wear their house shirt on Friday, November 18.

• Las ventas de camisetas estarán disponibles para la venta el 17 de noviembre durante el evento Literacy Extravaganza de 4:00 p. m. a 6:00 p. m.
• $14
• El viernes 18 de noviembre estaremos tomando fotografías de sus alumnos con sus camisetas de la casa para nuestra exhibición del sistema de la casa. Permita que su alumno use la camiseta de su casa el viernes 18 de noviembre.
