Woods Lake Elementary

Weekly Update November 02-06, 2020

From the Desk of the Principal

Hello Woods Lake Family,

Happy November to you! I hope that you all are refreshed from the additional hour that we have, as time has fallen back! Thank you for your submission to the PTO sponsored virtual Halloween Parade slideshow. You will be able to view the slideshow on our PTO Facebook page and our Woods Lake website.

Thank you for your support in getting your child online for small group instruction in the afternoon. This is a time where your child receives individualized support on various content and specific needs. Remember, you may also connect your personal email to your child's google classroom to remain updated on assignment submissions and other activities.

Woods Lake PTO is sponsoring our fall 2020 scholastic book fair. The link to our virtual book fair is: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/woodslakeelementaryschool. See flyer below!

What can I do to support my child with learning from home?

Routine is important! Continue to structure your child's day. This will give them a sense of normalcy, set an expectation, and help them remain calm and focused.

In what ways can I help my child with academics?

Be sure to check your child's google classroom. It will keep you informed about your child's progress. You may also connect your personal email to the account to remain updated.
