As a valued member in your local school community, you can provide information and feedback that helps school leaders make important decisions that affect students and schools. Therefore, Gwinnett County Public Schools would like to ask for your assistance in the crucial process of selecting a principal to replace Mrs. Vivian Stranahan. The Gwinnett County Board of Education and Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks would appreciate your response to a web-based Principal Selection Survey. This survey will help school system leaders gather input regarding the selection of the new principal of Mulberry Elementary School.

bully prevention week
Mulberry's Bully Prevention week is March 23-27. The theme for Bully Prevention week is "My Future is Bright, No Bullies in Sight". Students will receive instruction on the importance of maintaining healthy friendships throughout the week. On Friday, March 27th, students can wear a bright color to school to celebrate sunny, safe friendships and bright futures!
PTA amendment proposal
As previously mentioned in the Mulberry Messenger, the PTA would like to make the following amendments to the current By-Laws:
· Article VI, Section 4, b. by striking out 2 consecutive years and inserting 3 consecutive years with the third year being used to train/apprentice new officers.
· Article VI, Section 7 c. by striking "in April" and inserting "by May 1." This change will all for the PTA vote to coincide with the school wide calendar.
The above proposed amendments will be considered APPROVED by the Mulberry PTA General Membership if there are no objections submitted in writing to the PTA Secretary by Friday March 13th at 5pm via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
