Principal's Pride
It is my pleasure to acknowledge the following students for their demonstration of fine character values: Emma Kauffman, Illanna LeGrand, Keira Urbanek, Brooklyn Hrdlicka, Trenten Schimmel, Brock Nesvacil, Joseph Little Bear Klukas, Parker Davis, Corina Gibson.
Emma is a fine young lady who strives to follow classroom procedures and to help others. She also has worked hard to make progress in all academic areas. Emma puts others needs over her own!
Illanna is a positive person who contributes to a cheerful classroom environment. She encourages others to do their best, and if she sees a need, she tries to help. Illanna puts in a strong effort in all academic areas, and her smile lights up the classroom.
Keira always is willing to help out in the classroom and also always does her personal best. Keep up the good work Keira!
Brooklyn always completes her work on time and to the best of her ability. Her teacher really appreciates that!
Trenten takes his schoolwork very seriously, and his teacher really appreciates it!
Brock is always kind and supportive of his classmates. He's a good friend!
Joseph is really showing his math skills. Keep up the great work Joseph!
Parker appears to be taking school much more seriously lately, and his teacher really appreciates his efforts. Good job Parker!
Corina is a very super hard worker who always does her best in the classroom. Her teacher is so proud of her!
Congrats to all! Mrs. Goettl
CLASS PLACEMENTS FOR 2017-2018
Teaching staff will soon be working together to determine class placements for the 1017-18 school year. Many factors are considered when placing students in classrooms. We will look for the best possible combinations to support success for each and every student.
As in past years, we discourage parents from making requests for a specific teacher for their child, however, there may be circumstances that we are not aware of that may impact your child's placement. If there are special circumstances that we need to know about please communicate these in writing to Mrs. Goettl by Friday April 14th.Thank you

Dr. Seuss Day Celebration in 1st Grade Ms. Czyscon's Class
Our first grade class had a fantastic time last week celebrating Dr. Seuss day on March 2nd. We spent the day reading some of our favorite Dr. Seuss books, taste-testing green eggs and ham in the classroom, and experimenting with sticky, green slime called oobleck from one of Dr. Seuss’s books. As part of Read Across America, we ended our eventful day by having students from the high school come over to read a few stories. We had a wonderful day!
Ms. Czyscon’s First Graders
One thing we want for all of our students is for them to develop a love and passion for reading!
Playgroup
Just wanted to let you know that the playgroup is still doing well. There are sometimes a bigger group, and last week there was just one other family that attended. But we all appreciate being able to utilize the school classroom and we really do appreciate it.
Some of the kids made a Thank you card for Katie. We do a small craft or game together, then I read 2 books.
Here are some pictures from the playgroup.
Thank you again
