NINE WEEKS TESTING SCHEDULE!
Wednesday, October 16 (A Day) - 3rd and 5th
Thursday, October 17 (B Day) - 1st and 6th
Friday, October 18 (A Day) - 2nd and 4th
If you need a test read, please contact the Special Education department at least a week prior to the test.
It's all hands on deck with nine weeks tests, so Kim Blakley and Fogg Machine will not be in inclusion classes. All tests will be read in the new TLC (upstairs classrooms by the math classes).
This nine weeks test can count as one of your 4 required major grades.
Lockout/Lockdown Drill on Friday, during announcements
Make sure that you have in your room or work area:
LVISD Emergency Procedures
"How to Prepare For and Respond During and After an Active Shooter Incident" - by your procedures
The Say it Twice, Say it Twice poster by your phone
Something to block your door - important to know that no one has been killed in an active shooter situation when the intruder was unable to get into the room
Something that can be used as a weapon as a last ditch effort
If you have conference 2nd period, please participate as if you did have a class. Stu will be reading what to do over the loud speaker to help facilitate the drill.
Progress Reports due next Monday
This check DOES affect UIL eligibility. In other words, if they are failing a course at grade check time (which will be checked according to the Gradebook update you enter next week), they will lose the ability to participate in UIL competition for 3 weeks until report cards come out and they are passing all their classes for the nine weeks.
Picture Day is this Wednesday!
